I love to group photos all made on one day, one week or one subject and this new template from Designer Digitals is perfect for a mosaic like grouping!

I have already posted some of these photos on Saturday’s blog entry, but when I did this scrapbook page this morning I just had to post it too! These photos were made on Saturday when our daughter brought their new baby home for the first time. We drove to visit Great-Great Aunt Velma, came home to ride the Gator with Papa, went to the Discovery Center, got a haircut & had a cookout with cousins!

[I love that MP has her tongue sticking out as she is driving! And, I’m crazy about the one with the two of them eating their breakfast in the play room. That was their idea, and they carried the table & chairs back in there from the kitchen where the three little ones ate supper on Saturday night. The pic of Papa giving Mark a little push is funny. Actually he didn’t really push him at all . . . he just playfully put his foot on Mark lightly. Mark jumped in and then was so mad at his Papa . . . he told E. that he wasn’t his best friend any more and that he wasn’t coming back to see him again!]

I have made a mosaic of a few of the photos that I have taken since I've been participating in Katrina's Through the Len's Class at Get it Scrapped.

Katrina has taught me to use several of the buttons and dials on my camera. I am slowly getting more familiar with it off of auto and I am inspired to go over and over her class notes until I can get all of the new pieces of knowledge into my head to where it will be second nature to use them when I pick up my camera. Heck, I might even pull out a yellow highlighter and study the book that came with it!

We went to early church and Sunday school this morning and then out to eat with Carol & Dave. Home . . . I played on the computer a little bit . . . started my needlepoint chair back . . . and read a little in the new book { The Help }that I began yesterday. I am almost finished with "The Little Giant of Aberdeen County" and I'm so glad that I've found another one to take it's place. "The Little Giant ... " is a really good read!

I think that I am really going to enjoy this one too . . . the beginning has pulled me in right away. And, that is always a good sign of a good book. The characterization is good too so far . . . even though I have only read 32 pages so far! It takes place in Mississippi . . . that will be fun in itself and will remind me of visits that we made there to see Daddy's family.

A fun thing here:

E. found a wren's nest built in/on the brim of his straw hat which was on a shelf in the barn. It must have had eggs in it, but they are long gone. We are surprised that she built her nest in the workshop . . . there is a { friendly } black snake that lives there too. We will sometimes see him draped over the inside of the front door. I don't think that I will be taking a photo of him!
